Wanted – Demonstration and validation projects in Energy and Mobility (TRL 6 and higher)
The Open Thor Living Lab offers a unique environment to test & validate energy & mobility solutions and products.
To further support industry and research partners in their product testing and validation, two new research and demonstration assets will be developed in the coming months.
- DemonstraThor: a new demonstration area for pilots and poc's in a living lab situation (TRL 6 and higher). Demonstrations in this area will have access to a low temperature thermal network and a new DC network.
- A DC network: interconnecting multiple business and residential buildings at Thor Park, creating a unique testing environment for DC-based technologies and smart grid applications. Check out testing possibilities here.

To ensure this expansion meets real-world testing and demonstration needs, we are looking for innovative companies and research stakeholders that want to co-create the right infrastructure for testing, research or demonstration needs in the energy transition.
